Angelica Yinling Sun
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist | Clinical Supervisor
Hi, this is therapist Angelica. It’s nice to converse with you. Let me first share something about myself.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. My pronouns are she/her. I’m bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, and currently in a bi-racial international marriage with my partner here in LA.
I work with minors, adults, families and couples from all cultural backgrounds. I have an integrated approach to therapy and had training experiences with different therapy modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness and existential therapy. I specialized in family/intergenerational trauma, relational stress, communication issues, existential crisis, self-esteem and identity issues. My personal philosophy is rooted in both eastern and western values and beliefs about life and human experience.
We can schedule a free 15-minute consultation call if you’d like to know more about my therapy practice. I look forward to connecting with you.

What therapy looks like with me
I believe that living is a journey and we all encounter mental health and emotional issues somewhere along the way. The difference is that sometimes we see it coming and sometimes we aren’t even aware that we are experiencing it. Therapy is one of the many approaches we can use to understand ourselves and our journeys, and develop our strengths and internal compass to support ourselves through it.
